It’s chestnut harvest season and Savanna Institute’s latest video takes you on a tour of Route 9 Cooperative in Carrollton, OH. The chestnut aggregator and processing cooperative consists of five member orchards located in the Appalachian foothills of eastern Ohio. Hear from chestnut farmers Greg and Amy Miller about growing the regenerative economy with tree crops.

Canopy Farm Management is Hiring!

Farm & Restoration Technician

The Technician will work as part of a team to establish and maintain perennial agroecological systems. This is a manual, outdoor field work position that will involve driving company trucks and trailers, operating tractors and a wide range of implements and other specialty equipment and tools, data collection, and troubleshooting equipment.
