In this Keynote talk from the Perennial Farm Gathering in October 2024, Chef Sean Sherman discusses the revitalization and evolution of Indigenous foods systems throughout North America. After publishing his first book, The Sioux Chef’s Indigenous Kitchen, with author Beth Dooley, he founded Owamni by The Sioux Chef, Minnesota’s first full service Indigenous restaurant, and started the non-profit North American Traditional Indigenous Food Systems (NĀTIFS).
